What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is an efficient and safe method of exfoliation.
To remove excess dead skin and peach fuzz fur, we use a sterile surgical scalpel to shave the skin surface. It is non-invasive, and the skin is not affected or traumatized in any way, unlike other procedures. To those with excess hair or breakouts, it is beneficial. There are no chemicals in use. There is therefore no “downtime” like for example in the case of a chemical peel. Dermaplaning can also increase the efficacy of treatments for acne.
